Qualifying children will be invited to register on a first-come, first-in basis according to the screening process below. Children who pass the screening for Gifted Preschool, and who successfully complete the program, may automatically qualify for DVU
General education, tuition-based preschool programs offer opportunities for children from the ages of 2 to 5 years old. Options for 2-, 3-, or 5-days per week, half or full day are available. The options will vary by age and site.

Deer Valley Unified School District's Community Education Department offers an Arizona Department of Transportation approved Drivers Education program for high school students including behind-the-wheel training for students that are at least 15 years, 6 months. Students must have their driving permit in order to receive the behind-the-wheel training. In addition, students must be currently registered in/attending an Arizona high school. Students who successfully complete the program, which requires 100% attendance, will receive an official Driver Education Certificate which fulfills the state requirement for the Graduated License. The program is offered several times throughout the school year and also during the summer.
