    Our school-based Before & After School Care programs offer school aged children the opportunity to extend their children's learning and development beyond the school day in a safe and supervised environment. Our diverse set of enrichment activities such as homework assistance, a literacy program, organized play indoors and out, and access to optional after school enrichment classes ensures there is something for everyone to enjoy. A variety of schedule options are available to meet most needs. Kindergarten students, including early entry, may attend upon reaching their 5th birthday.

  • Developmental Preschool

    Developmental Preschool provides services for 3-5 year old children who may be experiencing difficulties in the area of language, social/emotional, motor/perceptual, and cognitive development. This program is administered through the Student Support Services Department.

  • FTF/Deer Valley Family Resource Center - Copper Creek

    The Deer Valley Unified School District’s Family Resource Center in partnership with First Things First, provides support to strengthen families. DVFRC offers education, prevention, and awareness by coordinating existing programs and services to meet the needs of families with children ages birth through five. In support of this mission, the center empowers our parents and caregivers to become educators themselves, and join in the joy of their child’s learning during the early developmental years.

    Children experience day-camp fun in a safe and supervised environment during School Break Camps. Lots of activities are offered including arts and crafts, literacy, indoor/outdoor games, and a party and presenter. Register early; space is limited. A daily sack lunch is required.   • Summer Camp ('Sun'sational)

    Summer Camp located at 5 regional sites throughout DVUSD for students ages 5-14 in grades K-8; with Preschool available at one site for 3-5 year olds. Per family registration fee PLUS $100 per child deposit charged upon contract approval. Children's days are packed with lots of fun activities. Students create memories and make new friends that last a life time. Daily rotations include arts & crafts, literacy, technology, STEM, field trips, presenters and more!
